We want craftslc.com to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is an ongoing effort, and we review the site as we add new content and features.
What we do
- Use a large, readable font size and clear color contrast.
- Structure posts with headings, lists and a table of contents so they are easy to scan and navigate.
- Write descriptive alt text for project photos.
- Make the site responsive so it works on phones, tablets and computers, and allow zooming.
- Keep menus, links and buttons usable with a keyboard.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as ads, cookie banners and embedded videos, is provided by other companies and may not fully meet our accessibility goals. Older photos may have less detailed alt text while we update them.
